Pre-Pegging Cleaning and Preparation
Let's be frank: when it comes to all the topics we can talk about in regards to pegging, cleaning and prep are the least fun ones. But like most chores, it serves a necessary purpose so that the fun we have later can be relaxed and worry-free. The biggest worry people have while pegging is making a mess.
No matter what, messes are inevitable and it's not something that you should be ashamed of, but they can do a lot to dampen a mood, so it’s good to avoid them. Some prep beforehand can go a long way, but only if it is done with safety in mind.
Please be warned that the first time you take the advice given in this article, it likely won’t go exactly as planned. It may never go exactly as planned. Life is messy, and so is cleaning out your ass! Every body is different and that means your body will require different things and send you different signals. Listen to what your body has to tell you and treat every miss-step as a teachable moment, not a reason to give up. Think of this as less of a set of instructions and more as a helpful guide to set you off on the journey of pre-anal penetration preparation.
There are two types of prep that we will be discussing: fast cleaning and deep cleaning. Their names seem self-explanatory but we will break it down for anyone unsure of which one is right for them. A fast cleaning is to prep for pegging that won’t be too deep or intensive, we are talking the equivalent of a “quickie”, and takes somewhere around 20 minutes to complete. Deep cleaning usually takes an hour or more and is for situations that are going to involve either intense, vigorous pegging or deep penetration. We strongly recommend learning and being familiar with both techniques. This is especially important because if the quick cleaning is done incorrectly, it can lead to you needing to do a deep cleaning.
Pre-Pegging Prep Tools of the Trade
Before we get into the nitty-gritty, you’ll need something to douche with. Most of these tools operate similarly, so this guide won’t get too into specifics. Your choice should come down to your preferences. A shower hose like the Clean Stream Deluxe or ErgoFlo Pro are hands-down the best choice for versatility and control but can be a bit restrictive in terms of cost and portability. An enema bulb like the ErgoFlo Director or Water Bottle Cleansing Kit are also easy to use, store, and travel with. You can browse all our pegging hygiene products and find the one that suits you best.
Making the First Move
Whatever tool you decide on, the next step is the same; you have to take a crap. Take your time, enjoy a good book. Don’t force it. We cannot emphasize that theme enough with this whole process: this is not a race, take your time! You need to be gentle and take care of yourself. Don’t use force or rush the process, as you’ll only irritate your body.
Before the next step, you have to decide where to do the cleaning. The toilet is a viable option, but we recommend a shower for overall ease and cleanliness purposes. The whole process is much easier when you have more room to maneuver.
Method #1: Fast Cleaning
Now for the main event, putting the water into your bum. Press the nozzle to your butt hole and, again don’t force it, simply allow the water pressure to do all the work. If you are using a shower system, you won’t want to stream the water inside you for longer than 5 seconds. If you are using a bulb tool, then you are going to want just a single dose.
It’s important not to use too much water. If you do, you run the risk of water moving past the sigmoid colon, and then you will absolutely have to do a deep clean. Otherwise you are going to end up with a very messy situation. The deep clean will take an extra hour, which can be a lot if you didn't plan for it, so it’s important to be careful. Once you have flushed the water from your system, simply repeat the process until the water is clean and odorless. There you go, all done!
Method #2: Deep Cleaning
The deep clean is a little more involved. Using a shower system, you have to allow the water to stream inside you for 30 seconds. If you are using a bulb tool, use somewhere between 6 to 10 doses before emptying. Like when doing a quick cleaning, you’ll need to repeat this process until the water is clean.
The key difference with deep cleaning is that the water that moved past the colon will not simply come out. You have to adjust your posture, bounce around, and encourage the water to leave your body. If the water won’t come even after all that, you might have to stimulate your butt hole to encourage your body to expel it. Rubbing or even a little finger penetration (with lube!) can create a pumping action and get it out. One tip for doing a deep cleaning, is to keep a scale nearby to weigh yourself before and after to make sure you have all the water is out. You don’t want to run the risk of not knowing you have water inside you, especially before anal penetration.
There you have it. The quick and dirty (but hopefully not for very much longer!) guide to pre-penetration cleaning. Remember to always take it slow and easy and to listen to what your body is telling you to get the best results.
